As the first building in the Paradise Circus redevelopment, One Chamberlain Square required a lighting control solution capable of supporting a large, single-tenant commercial environment while meeting high expectations for performance, compliance, and reliability. The building needed a robust system that could provide full addressable lighting control across all eight floors, simplify emergency lighting management, and integrate effectively with central battery infrastructure.
With PwC occupying the entire building, the lighting system had to deliver consistent performance across a large and complex office layout while remaining easy to manage and adaptable to operational requirements. The contractor required a solution that would ensure seamless emergency lighting integration, provide clear system visibility, and support efficient maintenance and compliance through a user-friendly interface.
The Solution
zencontrol implemented a comprehensive DALI-2 lighting control system throughout One Chamberlain Square, delivering a scalable and intelligent platform designed to optimise lighting performance across the entire development. The installation includes DALI-2 Application Controllers, LCMs, relays, PIR sensors, switch interfaces, and scene set modules, working together to provide seamless and responsive lighting control.
The system enables lighting to respond automatically to occupancy and operational schedules, improving energy efficiency while maintaining a comfortable and productive workplace environment. Each floor benefits from flexible lighting control and configurable scenes, ensuring that the system can adapt to different working areas and operational needs.
